Rice salad

SERVES 4 PEOPLE
READY IN 20’

 

INGREDIENTS

10oz uncooked rice

4 tablespoons frozen peas

Water to taste

Cooking salt to taste

 

1 pack Vienna sausages

1 slice ham (5 mm thick)

1 slice Fontina cheese  (i like Fontal Cavalese cheese)

 

1 can of tuna

Extra virgin olive oil to taste

 

 

STEP 1: COOK THE RICE

Cook rice following pack instructions: in hot salted water together with frozen peas. Once cooked, rinse under cold water to cool down ; then transfer it in a large bowl.

 

STEP 2: CUT THE INGREDIENTS

Cube the Vienna sausages, ham and fontina cheese.

 

STEP 3: COMBINE

Combine the cutten ingredients with the rice and peas and add the tuna. Mix well. If necessary add some extra virgin olive oil.
