Vienna sausage croissant

MAKES 8 CROISSANTS

INGREDIENTS

1 pack Vienna sausages

4 tablespoons Ricotta cheese (fresh cheese)

2 tablespoons Parmesan cheese

Salt and pepper to taste

 

1 roll puff pastry

1 egg yolk + salt to taste

 

 

STEP 1: MAKE THE FILLNG

Place the Vienna sausages into the mixer and mix them. Add the Ricotta cheese, the Parmesan cheese, salt and pepper.

 

STEP 2: CUT THE PUFF PASTRY

Cut the puff pastry roll into 8 triangles.

 

STEP 3: FILL THE PUFF PASTRY TRIANGLES

Extend by hand each triangles . Place at the base of each a teaspoon of filling, then roll them up.

 

STEP 4: COOK

Place the croissants on a baking tray covered with baking paper. Sprinkle them with a mix of egg yolk and salt and cook in preheated oven for 10-15 minutes at 200°C.
