Choco & almond stuffed pears

Trust me: it will never be too hot for poached pears.

There is no mid-August or diet, this is a pure vice of gluttony that you absolutely must have.

Try them: they are easy, fast and unforgettable!!

INGREDIENTS:

4 pears

4 teaspoons chocolate cream

1 puff pastry sheet

1 egg yolk

1 tablespoon water

icing sugar

chocolate

sliced almonds

STEP 1: SLICE THE PEARS

Peel the pears and cut them in a half. Remove the seeds with a teaspoon to make a central hole.

STEP 2: STUFF

Place a teaspoon of chocolate cream into the pears hole, then combine the two pear halves to recreate the entire pear (you can also close them with a toothpick).

STEP 3: SLICE THE PUFF PASTRY

Using a glass cut  4 puff pastry cirlces, then slice the remaining pastry into strips 1-1,5 cm thin.

STEP 4: COVER THE PEARS

Place one parchment paper sheet on a baking tin.

Place the entire pears on each puff pastry circle and press with fingers to fix it.

Wrap the pears with puffpastry strips and press with finger to fix them.

STEP 5: BRUSH AND COOK

Brush the pears with yolk + water mixture.

Cook the stuffed pears in preheated oven at  200°C for about 10 minutes (until golden brown).

STEP 6: THE FINAL TOUCH

Let the pears cool, then decore with what you prefer: I decided for icing sugar, melted chocolate and almonds.
