Super tasty, very easy to make and listen: they avoid getting your hands covered with breading 🙂
What about you? I usually have my fingers ready to be fried when I’m done breading the steaks !! Here, however, you won’t use eggs so the problem is solved 😉
But that’s not all: the rolls have a delicious ham and cheese filling that melts in your mouth!
MAKES 8 rolls
READY IN 30’
INGREDIENTS:
4 tablespoons breadcrumbs
3 tablespoons Parmigiano cheese
1 tablespoon parsley, chopped
salt an pepper to taste
8 pork slices
2,4 oz Asiago cheese (or similar)
4 ham slices
2 tablespoons Parmigiano cheese
3-4 tablespoons extra virgin olive oil
STEP 1: MAKE THE BREADING
Place in a bowl: breadcrumbs, Parmigiano, parsley, salt and pepper.
STEP 2: BREAD THE MEAT
Beat the slices with the meat tenderizer to make them thin,
then place them into the breading on both sides.
STEP 3: FILL
Place one pork slice on the chopping board,
add 1/2 ham slice
and some cheese ( both Asiago and Parmigiano).
Wrap the slice and close it with toothpicks.
STEP 4: COOK
Place parchment papaer in a baking sheet and add 2 tablespoons of extra virgin olive oil
place the rolls in it
and sprinkle with oil again. Cook the rolls in preheated oven at 200°C for 20 minutes, then turn the grill on and cook for 2 more minutes to make them golden.
