Chocolate and strawberry sweet hearts – STEPbySTEP

A romantic and easy idea for those who have no time to cook but want to cuddle their love!

INGREDIENTS

1 puff pastry sheet (I used Stuffer)

 

10 strawberries

1 tablespoon lemon juice

1 teaspoon sugar

 

1 white chocolate bar

 

confectioner’s sugar to taste

 

 

STEP 1: CUT THE PUFF PASTRY SHEET

Using two cookies cutter, cut about 20 hearts and overlay two by two.

 

STEP 2: CUT THE STRAWBERRIES

Wash and cut the strawberries into small pieces, then add lemon juice and sugar.

 

STEP 3: MELT THE CHCOLATE

Melt the chocolate bar in a water bath.

 

 

STEP 4: FILL THE HEARTS

Place a teaspoon of chocolate in the centre of each heart and add strawberries.

 

STEP 5: COOK

Cook sweet hearts in preheated oven at 200°C until golden (about 8 minutes). When cold sprinkle with confectioner’s sugar.
