Creamed spinach

I often make creamed spinach because my family love them. That’s a very easy recipe to make something healthy delicious too thanks to pine nuts and cheese.

SERVES 2-3 PEOPLE
READY IN 25′

 

INGREDIENTS

water and coarse salt to taste

1 lb frozen spinach

 

1 teaspoon butter

2 tablespoons pine nuts

 

2 tablespoons Grana cheese

2 tablespoons other cheese (the one you like)

 

 

STEP 1: BOIL THE SPINACH

Cook the spinach in boiling salted water for 10 minutes, then drain them.

 

STEP 2: IN TO THE PAN

Melt the butter in a non-stick pan, add the spinach and the pine nuts.

 

STEP 3: ADD THE CHEESE

Add Grana and the other cheese and whisk until melted.
